Yes. We regularly remove and redo work from other shops — bubbling or purpling tint, peeling or poorly installed PPF, hazy film, and bad edges. We'll assess what's on your vehicle, remove the old material safely, and reinstall it correctly with our warranty. Removal of old film can add some time to the job depending on its condition, and we'll factor that into your quote before we start so there are no surprises. Yes — Teslas and EVs are some of the most common vehicles we work on. We install window tint, paint protection film, ceramic coating, and wraps on the full Tesla lineup (Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X) as well as other EVs like Rivian and Lucid. EV owners often add windshield and front-glass tint to cut heat load and help range on hot days, and PPF on high-impact areas like the front bumper and hood. We're familiar with the panels and glass on these vehicles and treat them with the same care as any other build.

A few quick things make your appointment go smoothly: Wash the exterior — this matters most for PPF, ceramic coating, and wraps, where a clean surface is essential for proper bonding. A basic wash the day before is plenty. Clear out personal items — remove valuables and clutter, especially if we're detailing the interior or working near the glass. Remove toll transponders or old decals if you're having that area wrapped or filmed, and let us know about any existing paint chips or damage. Plan for drop-off time — most tint jobs are same-day; popular PPF packages run around 4 hours; wraps and full PPF may take longer. We'll confirm timing when you book. In Utah, front side windows must allow at least 43% of light in (43% VLT) . Rear side windows and the rear windshield can be any darkness. The front windshield can only have a non-reflective tint strip along the top. We'll always make sure your install is street-legal.

Most tint jobs take 1.5 to 3 hours depending on the number of windows and the vehicle. Full vehicle installs with windshield can take longer. We'll give you a time estimate when you book.

We recommend waiting 3 to 5 days before rolling your windows down. In colder months that can stretch to a week. Small water bubbles or haze right after install are completely normal and go away as the film cures.

Carbon tint is a great affordable option — blocks 99% of UV, reduces glare, looks clean. Doesn't block as much heat as ceramic.

Ceramic tint is the premium choice. Rejects up to 97% of infrared heat, blocks 99% of UV, doesn't interfere with electronics or signals, and lasts longer. If Utah summers are cooking your interior, ceramic is worth it.

No. Both carbon and ceramic tint are signal-friendly. Ceramic tint doesn't contain metal, so GPS, cell service, and toll passes all work normally.

Gloss PPF is optically clear and virtually invisible. Matte PPF gives your paint a matte finish. Color PPF changes the color of your car entirely while protecting the original paint underneath.

Yes. PPF is designed to be removable without damaging your paint, especially when done professionally. We recommend having it removed by a pro rather than doing it yourself.

PPF is a physical film that absorbs rock chips, scratches, and road debris. Ceramic coating is a liquid that bonds to your paint and protects against UV, chemical stains, and makes cleaning easier — but won't stop a rock chip. Many customers do both: PPF on high-impact areas, ceramic coating over the top for maximum protection and easy cleaning.

A quality vinyl wrap lasts around 5 to 7 years with proper care. We use premium films (like 3M and Inozetek) that hold color and finish far longer than budget vinyl. Lifespan depends on care and exposure — vehicles kept out of constant direct sun and washed by hand last longest.

No — on factory paint in good condition, a properly installed wrap actually protects the paint underneath from UV, minor scratches, and rock chips, and removes cleanly when done by a professional. The exception is panels with aftermarket respray or existing paint damage: vinyl can lift weak or peeling paint on removal. We inspect your paint before wrapping and flag any concerns first.

A full wrap covers your entire vehicle — it's how you completely change the color or finish (matte, satin, gloss, color-shift) while keeping the original paint protected underneath. A partial wrap covers specific areas like the roof, hood, mirrors, or trim, and is popular for accents, two-tone looks, and chrome deletes. Full wraps cost more and take longer; partials are a lower-cost way to change a vehicle's look or black out chrome.

A professionally applied ceramic coating typically lasts 2 to 5 years depending on the product and how the car is maintained. Our STEK coating is on the longer end of that range.

Wash regularly with a pH-neutral car shampoo, avoid automatic car washes with brushes, and don't let bird droppings or tree sap sit for long. That's really it — the whole point of ceramic is that maintenance gets much easier.

Yes — and it's one of the best combinations you can do. Ceramic coating over PPF extends the PPF warranty from 10 to 12 years, makes the film easier to clean, and adds an extra layer of gloss and protection.

Don't roll your windows down for 3 to 5 days. When cleaning, use a soft microfiber cloth and ammonia-free cleaner on the inside — ammonia degrades window film over time. Avoid anything abrasive near the edges.

Wait at least 48 hours before washing after install. Use a pH-neutral soap and avoid high-pressure water directly at the edges of the film. The self-healing properties activate with heat — leaving your car in the sun or using warm water helps minor scratches disappear faster.

The No-Fault Warranty is optional protection you can add to your window tint that covers accidental and environmental damage — the kind of thing a standard manufacturer warranty doesn't. If your tint is damaged by an accident, a break-in, or an outside event, or develops a visibility or safety issue, we'll re-tint the affected area under the warranty. It's a one-claim plan, available on our Carbon and Ceramic films, with pricing tiered to the cost of your tint job. It does not cover requests to change the color or shade of your film after install.
